
Kaeylea van Keith
Kaeylea is a versatile singer, pianist, clarinettist, composer, lyricist, musical director, and educator.
Originally from New York, she has made her home in Maynooth, County Kildare since 2007. She runs a busy private teaching studio and is a singing tutor with Maynooth University’s Music Department and Westside Performing Arts in Lucan.

A graduate of the Peabody Institute of Music at Johns Hopkins University (B.Mus Hons), Kaeylea went on to postgraduate study at the St. Louis Conservatory of Music and Northwestern University, Chicago, and also trained in the Conservatory program at The Acting Studio, Florida.
In 2017, she became the first singing teacher in Ireland to qualify as an Estill Master Trainer, establishing her as a leading voice specialist.

Kaeylea VanKeith has been a singing teacher and vocal coach for over 20 years, working with students of all ages and levels of experience. She is a certified Estill Master Trainer (EMT), with an international profile as a vocal coach and mentor.

Her training spans some of the world’s leading conservatories: the Peabody Institute of Music (Johns Hopkins University), St. Louis Conservatory, and Northwestern University in Chicago. She also studied with renowned teachers Paul Farrington, Anne-Marie Speed, Gaylene Gabora, and Serafina DiGiacomo, and trained at The Actor’s Studio in Hollywood, FL—adding depth to her understanding of performance and stagecraft.

Kaeylea teaches in musical theatre, pop/rock, and classical styles, helping singers build healthy technique, confidence, and expressive artistry. Her students have performed in Musical Societies (winning AIMS awards), in professional musical theatre, and on international platforms including Eurovision, The Voice UK, and The X Factor (Celebrity). Many have been accepted into top drama schools in Ireland and the UK, going on to careers in the West End and beyond.

With over 20 years of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for the piano, Kaeylea VanKeith brings both professional artistry and practical expertise to every lesson. An accomplished performer and musical director, she has decades of experience accompanying singers and instrumentalists across classical, contemporary, and musical theatre genres, giving her a broad perspective on music-making in real-world contexts.
Lessons focus on developing solid technique, building knowledge of harmony and form, and cultivating expressive musicianship. Whether preparing for graded exams, auditions, school projects, or simply playing for enjoyment, Kaeylea tailors her teaching to each student’s goals. She combines patience and encouragement with professional expertise, helping every student grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of music.
​Composer, Lyricist & Singer-Songwriter Bio
Kaeylea VanKeith is a composer, lyricist, and singer-songwriter whose work combines musical theatre, contemporary songwriting, and live performance. Her original musicals include Sisters (co-written with playwright Tracy Ryan; produced at Dublin’s dlr Mill Theatre), A Change of Heart (Arts Council Agility Award), and Sorry, Not Sorry (Kildare Arts Act Grant). She has also composed and arranged for Raglan Rogues by Kevin Burns, and created scores and sound design for the British Museum, the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and Athlone Castle. Her song “Still Here For You” (co-written with Kate Lynn-Devere) was long-listed for the 2025 Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize.

As a recording artist and singer-songwriter, Kaeylea blends alternative, theatrical pop, and neoclassical influences with a flair for storytelling. Her music moves between dark, dreamlike textures and playful eclecticism, combining piano-driven melodies with bold reinterpretations and atmospheric arrangements. Straddling the line between intimate confession and dramatic performance, her songs reflect classical training, cabaret sensibilities, and contemporary alternative stylings. Her work has been featured on National Public Radio, PBS, and the Discovery Channel.
